Job summary

A reputable energy company in Malaysia seeks a dedicated HR professional to manage a range of HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and maintaining accurate employee records. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Human Resources, a minimum of three years of relevant experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. This role is based in Damansara Jaya and involves multitasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Well versed with Employment Act 1955.
  • Highly capable of handling multi-tasking, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions including payroll administration.

Job description
Responsibilities

Responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions including but not limited to payroll administration, compensation & benefits, leave administration, HR administration and training & development.

Ensure HR policies and practices compliance with local labor rules and regulations.

Establish/update and maintain employee database and records to ensure the data in the system is up-to-date.

Maintains and updates personnel files of all employees.

Addressing employee enquiries regarding human resources issues, rules and regulations.

Update and work on the Organizational Chart with the HODs.

Responsible for expatriate administration.

Issuance of staff access card upon new recruits and maintain the time attendance system.

Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties.

Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior or Management.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor Human Resources Management/Business Studies/Administration/Management or related equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant HR working experience in related field.
  • Well verse with Employment Act 1955.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly capable of handling multi-tasking, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player.
  • Positive attitude, proactive, independent, resourceful, good sense of responsibility, detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Analytical thinking and good at problem-solving.
  • Required Skill(s): MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and Outlook.
