What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities)
  • Strategy: Lead HR strategy and workforce planning aligned to business goals.
  • Recruitment: Own full‑cycle hiring, onboarding, and employer branding.
  • Policy: Develop and implement HR policies and SOPs compliant with Malaysian law.
  • Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance (Employment Act, SOCSO, EPF, EIS) and accurate records.
  • Performance: Drive performance management cycles, KPIs/OKRs, and talent reviews.
  • Engagement: Champion culture, engagement, and internal communications.
  • Development: Build learning and development plans and training calendars.
  • Remuneration: Administer payroll inputs, benefits, leave, and HRIS updates.
  • Relations: Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and investigations.
  • Administration: Oversee office admin, vendors, facilities, and procurement.
  • Governance: Manage contracts, documentation, audits, and data confidentiality.
  • Events: Coordinate company events, meetings, and travel logistics.
  • Reporting: Prepare HR/admin dashboards and management reports.
  • Improvement: Identify process gaps and implement automation/standardization.
  • Leadership: Coach a small HR/Admin team and collaborate cross‑functionally.
What do we need from you (Job Requirements)
  • Experience: 5–8+ years in HR and administration with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role; SME/start‑up experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Malaysian labour law, payroll practices, statutory contributions, and HR best practices.
  • Tools: Proficiency with HRIS, MS Office/Google Workspace; comfortable designing SOPs and using data for decision‑making.
