Job summary

A leading marketing firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an HR Manager to lead full-spectrum HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Key responsibilities also involve developing HR policies in compliance with Malaysian labor laws and overseeing office administration. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field, 5-8 years of HR experience, strong knowledge of employment regulations, and excellent leadership skills. Proficiency in English and B.M is required; Korean is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years at managerial level.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and statutory regulations.
  • Experience in recruitment, payroll, HRIS, and policy development.

Job description

Lead and manage full-spectrum HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, performance management, and employee relations.

Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws.

Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, counselling, and employee engagement initiatives.

Oversee office administration, facilities, procurement, and vendor management.

Manage HR documentation, HRIS update and statutory reporting.

Support management in HR planning, manpower forecasting, and organizational development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years at managerial level.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and statutory regulations.

Experience in recruitment, payroll, HRIS, and policy development.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Required language(s): English and B.M; Korean is an added advantage.
