A hospitality company in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are upheld throughout guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will supervise housekeeping staff, address guest complaints, and maintain supplies for smooth operations. Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential for this role. 1. Check duty roster for staff on-duty, checks overall attendance.
2. Checks staff personal grooming and fitness.
3. Assigns PA Cleaner and allocates rooms that need cleaning to maids and condo maids.
4. Dispatches floor master keys to staff concerned.
5. Checks occupied rooms occasionally and vacant room every morning.
6. Checks the checked-out rooms occasionally and vacant room every morning.
7. Checks by giving special attention to the reserved VIP guest rooms before check-in.
8. Ensures there are adequate supplies and smooth running of the department.
9. Check all equipment are in good order.
10. Report maintenance work order needed and inspects the job done.
11. Records any missing item and discrepancies in the room.
12. Arranges special cleaning like deep-cleaning, window cleaning etc. of Rooms, Public Areas, Condominium when occupancy is low.
13. Completes and dispatches Housekeeper’s occupancy report at the end of the day.
14. Helps in inventory stock taking by monthly and prepare time-table for Housekeeping personnel.
15. Assigns, supervises and assists maids on turn-down of bed in the evening.
16. Records any lost & found items found in the rooms or Public Area.
17. Train new staff and retrains the senior ones if necessary.
18. Maintains standard of cleanliness in all rooms, public areas, condo, linen room and office.
19. Assists with the duties of chambermaids during busy period.
20. Supervises the cleaning of Public area during the absence of Supervisor in charge.
21. Attend F&B meeting in the absence of Assistant Housekeeper and any other meetings as required.
22. See that the exterminating services is carried out accordingly.
23. Report to the Housekeeper any irregularities observed during the course of work.
24. Report to the Assistant Housekeeper during the absence of Housekeeper.
25. Check all assigned areas at the end of the day making sure all equipment keys and supplies are stored and locked properly.
26. Handles guest’s complaints tactfully.
27. Any other duties that maybe assigned to you from time to time / or as and when required.
