Job summary

A hospitality establishment in Ipoh, Perak is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor. This role requires leading the housekeeping team, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, and managing inventory of supplies. Candidates should have at least 2-3 years in housekeeping and 1 year in a supervisory position. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house for cleanliness and maintenance.

Plan daily work assignments and schedules for the housekeeping team.

Train, motivate, and monitor staff performance.

Ensure all housekeeping supplies and linen inventory are well maintained.

Handle guest requests and complaints professionally.

Work closely with the Front Office and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Detail‑oriented with high standards of cleanliness.

Preferably with hotel/hospitality background.
