A health-focused Ecommerce company in Subang Jaya seeks an Ecommerce Growth Leader to own the marketing, strategy, and sales execution needed to transition to proprietary product lines. Job description

It is about building a scalable Ecommerce growth engine that can move the business from mid-six-figure monthly revenue to seven figures, while simultaneously transitioning from third-party brand distributorship to our own proprietary product lines with stronger margins and IP control.

You will own the Ecommerce growth system end-to-end, and lead the marketing, sales and creative execution required to scale both locally and internationally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Ownership and Performance Continuity
  • Plan, execute, optimise, troubleshoot, and relaunch Ecommerce campaigns across:
  • Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads
  • Influencer, affiliate, and community channels
  • Website funnels, offers, and CRM-based sales pipelines
  • Ensure every campaign has:
  • Clear funnel logic
  • Defined target avatar
  • Measurable conversions
  • Direct revenue contribution

Continuously improve performance through structured optimisation cycles.

Reset strategies or rebuild campaigns from scratch when required to hit growth targets.

2. Team Leadership, Capability Building, and Performance Accountability

Lead performance marketing, Ecommerce sales, content and multimedia teams.

  • Train teams on:
  • Messaging and positioning
  • Funnel thinking
  • CRM handling and follow‑ups
  • Objection handling and closing logic

Set clear KPIs, enforce accountability and drive execution speed.

Take decisive action on underperformance through coaching, restructuring, rehiring or replacement.

Build a high‑performance Ecommerce team that can scale with the business.

3. Lead Generation, CRM and Conversion Systems

Architect and scale multi‑channel Ecommerce lead generation systems.

Own CRM segmentation, automation, follow‑up logic and recovery flows.

Optimise WhatsApp, email, retargeting and reactivation journeys to maximise conversion and lifetime value.

Strengthen community and database touchpoints to drive repeat purchases and brand loyalty.

4. Performance Analysis and Optimisation Cycles

Monitor Ecommerce performance daily and weekly.

Identify bottlenecks across ads, creatives, landing pages, checkout and closing.

Optimise messaging, offers, creatives, targeting and conversion bridges.

5. Product Development, Market Validation and Growth Insights (with BD Team)

Work closely with the Business Development team to:

  • Identify customer pain points
  • Shape product and offer direction

Design and manage customer research including:

  • Pre‑purchase intent and objection surveys
  • Post‑purchase satisfaction and outcome surveys
  • Non‑repeat and churn analysis

Analyse insights from CRM data, customer conversations, surveys and SKU‑level performance.

Collaborate on product improvements, bundles, pricing strategies and new launches.

Ensure every product or offer is launched with validated demand and a clearly defined avatar.

6. Creative Direction, Campaign Narrative and Brand Execution (Per Product, Per Avatar)

Lead creative direction per product, per avatar and per campaign, ensuring each campaign has:

  • Consistent messaging
  • Strong visual and emotional hooks

Work closely with the Art Director from the Holding Company to align:

  • Brand standards
  • Visual systems

Lead and guide multimedia designers to:

  • Translate strategy into high‑performing creatives
  • Maintain creative consistency across channels
  • Continuously improve performance through creative testing and iteration

Ensure creatives are built not just to look good but to convert, scale and travel across markets.

7. Business Scaling, Team Restructuring and Growth Transition

Take ownership of scaling Ecommerce revenue from current six‑figure monthly levels to seven figures within 6 months.

Acknowledge that the current team and structure were built for a different stage and must evolve.

Restructure, rehire and rebuild team capabilities as required to support:

  • Higher revenue targets
  • Product‑led scaling

Lead the transition from:

  • Sole distributorship with medium margins
  • To proprietary product brands with stronger margin and IP control

Systematically launch new in‑house products while:

  • Managing existing customer database and community
  • Controlling brand narrative during transition
  • Scaling evergreen acquisition for new customers

Prepare Ecommerce operations to scale from local to international markets.

8. Dashboard Intelligence, Reporting and Forecast Planning

Build and maintain dashboards tracking:

  • Traffic
  • Conversion rates
  • CAC, AOV, LTV
  • ROAS by channel and SKU
  • Revenue forecasts

Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.

Ensure CRM discipline and accurate data usage across teams.

Translate insights into clear execution priorities for continuous growth.

TECHNICAL AND LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

You are expected to optimise, rebuild and scale with urgency and discipline.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Ecommerce marketing, sales leadership or both.
  • Proven track record scaling revenue‑driven Ecommerce businesses.
  • Strong understanding of funnels, CRM, ads optimisation, creative performance and analytics.
  • Comfortable owning numbers, decisions and outcomes.
Preferred
  • Experience in health, wellness or consumer product brands.
  • Experience launching and scaling proprietary product brands.
