Job summary

Head of Sales and Business Development – Consumer Devices, Southeast Asia (SEA)

  • Own and deliver the full P&L for the Consumer Devices segment in SEA
  • Develop and execute SEA business plan aligned with global and regional strategies
  • Ensure achievement of revenue, margin, and profitability targets (KP and EP)
  • Business Development:
    • Hunt and secure new business opportunities across major consumer device segments (Storage, AI Devices, Other Devices)
    • Map and validate growth areas, then convert them into tangible wins
    • Drive initiatives aligned with growth pillars to increase Henkel’s market share
    • Build strategic partnerships with leading OEMs and EMS to penetrate new accounts
    • Leverage channels and distributors to accelerate entry into emerging segments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to ensure alignment with growth objectives
  • Monitor distributor performance, set aggressive KPIs, and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Drive distributor capability development through training and joint business planning
  • Key Account Management:
    • Own and grow key accounts by driving deeper engagement and expanding share of wallet
    • Develop and execute account-specific strategies to secure spec-in and long-term partnerships
    • Build strong relationships with senior management and decision-makers at key customers
    • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new business within these organizations
  • Manage one direct report (with potential for future team expansion)
  • Provide coaching and guidance to ensure alignment with aggressive growth objectives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
    • Align with global and regional stakeholders to ensure consistency in execution

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field; strong technical background preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic role
  • Strong understanding of Consumer Devices industry and SEA market dynamics
  • Proven track record of aggressively driving growth, winning new business, and managing P&L for a regional segment
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and lead cross-functional initiatives
