About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Recruitment & Talent Acquisition to support and drive end-to-end recruitment initiatives across our retail outlets, logistics operations, and headquarters. This role is well suited for a recruitment professional with min 2–3 years of solid experience who is comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-volume environments and is ready to take on broader ownership.
You will support manpower planning, manage recruitment operations, ensure compliance, and contribute to talent pipeline development while working closely with hiring managers and guiding a small recruitment team. This role offers the opportunity to build practical recruitment processes, strengthen employer branding, and grow into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities
Manpower Planning & Recruitment Strategy
- Lead and oversee recruitment for retail outlets, logistics, and HQ roles.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business growth and manpower planning.
- Review and validate manpower requests to ensure timely and effective hiring.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to forecast workforce needs and optimize sourcing timelines.
- Identify and evaluate the most effective recruitment channels and platforms to ensure cost efficiency and talent quality.
Recruitment & Selection
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for mass hiring, corporate, and niche roles.
- Formalize and review job descriptions and specifications for new and existing positions.
- Design and execute sourcing strategies for high-volume store roles and specialized positions.
- Manage internal mobility and talent movement initiatives to support retention and career pathing.
- Provide high-quality recruitment advisory support to hiring managers, fostering shared ownership in people decisions.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
- Implement and optimize recruitment technologies (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
- Champion DEI initiatives and inclusive hiring practices.
Recruitment Compliance & Governance
- Develop, review, and update internal recruitment policies to ensure compliance with internal standards and statutory requirements.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation for new hires.
- Audit and verify recruitment data in HRIS to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline
- Build and maintain strong recruitment pipelines with universities and colleges through career fairs and campus engagements.
- Evaluate and participate in public career fairs and recruitment events based on cost-effectiveness and hiring impact.
- Manage internal employer branding initiatives, including social platforms, internal communications, and vacancy promotions.
- Represent the company at career events, campus drives, and industry networking sessions.
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of recruiters and coordinators.
- Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and agile recruitment team culture.
- Ensure recruitment strategies support long-term employee retention and organizational stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within recruitment or talent acquisition
- (candidates with strong 3+ years leadership exposure may be considered).
- Proven experience in recruitment, employer branding, and talent development.
- Experience in mass hiring and/or retail industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Candidates able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese are strongly preferred
- Professional, confident, and diplomatic when engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Willing to work at Pandan Jaya, Ampang.
