A leading retail management company in Petaling Jaya seeks a Regional Marketing & Communications Manager to develop marketing strategies that drive tenant sales and brand awareness. This role involves leading a team, managing marketing budgets, and overseeing promotional campaigns and digital content strategy. Candidates should possess a degree in Marketing or Business Administration and have experience in retail marketing or mall management, along with strong digital marketing skills and analytical abilities.
To develop and execute strategies marketing plans that enhance footfall, drive tenant sales, increase brand awareness, and position the mall as a preferred lifestyle destination.
Lead a team and work closely with leasing, operations, and external agencies.
Accountable for overall marketing performance, brand health, and revenue impact.
Present consolidated reports to senior management.
Design and implement retail promotions, sales campaigns, and loyalty programs.
Collaborate with tenants to drive joint marketing initiatives and increase customer engagement
Analyse tenant sales performance and suggest marketing interventions.
Oversee end-to-end planning of mall events, exhibitions, seasonal campaigns, and public events.
Engage event partners, agencies, and sponsors to create experience campaigns
Ensure all activities align with safety, branding, and customer experience standards
Lead social media, influencer collaborations, and digital ad campaigns
Manage mall’s website, mobile app, and digital content strategy
Track online engagement metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
Liaise with PR / media agencies, event partners, and advertising vendors.
Coordinate with leasing and operations teams for cross-functional alignment
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives and target audience.
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI.
Conduct a market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the industry.
Oversee the development and management of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events,etc), ensuring brand consistency.
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed based on data-driven insights.
Evaluate overall marketing effectiveness and adjust strategic direction.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in marketing, preferably in the retail section or mall management.
Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and social media platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work flexibly and manage time effectively, including weekends and evenings as required for events.
Creative thinker with strong analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Marketing software.
Experience in event planning and management is highly desirable.
