Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within a high-tech or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in IT strategy development, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems management, with strong knowledge of manufacturing systems (MES, ERP) and Industry 4.0 technologies.

- Provide Strategic Leadership: Lead the IT and factory integration function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Drive Digital Transformation & Smart Factory Integration: Implement advanced technologies (Industry 4.0, MES, ERP, IoT) to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure Robust IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity: Oversee enterprise systems, networks, and cybersecurity measures to safeguard operations and support business continuity.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
IT & Digital Strategy Leadership
- Provide strategic direction for IT and factory integration: ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and Hong Leong Group’s corporate culture and compliance requirements.
- Lead and inspire IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions: that support manufacturing excellence.
- Drive effective change management and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Drive effective change management initiatives and ensure seamless assimilation into Hong Leong Group’s corporate culture, values, and compliance requirements.
Factory Integration & Smart Manufacturing
- Develop and implement Industry 4.0 technologies: including MES, IoT, and automation systems, to enable smart factory operations.
- Ensure seamless integration of IT systems with manufacturing processes: to optimize productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business units: to deliver integrated solutions that enhance competitiveness.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks: to protect critical manufacturing and business systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data protection laws, and internal governance standards.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Champion digital innovation and adoption of advanced technologies: such as AI, big data analytics, and cloud computing.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize factory performance and enable predictive maintenance and operational efficiency.
Resource & Financial Management
- Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships: to ensure cost-effective technology investments.
- Monitor financial performance of IT projects and implement measures to maximize ROI.
Leadership & People Development
- Build and develop a high-performing IT team: with strong technical and leadership capabilities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous learning: within the IT and factory integration function.
