The successful candidate will take full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and will lead financial integration for newly acquired entities. Required qualifications include a CPA or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years in finance, with preferred experience in the Aviation industry. As the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you are a strategic catalyst for Pos Malaysia. You will bridge the gap between financial data and operational excellence, providing the deep insights necessary to drive our business strategy forward. You are expected to operate with high autonomy, transforming complex data into a roadmap for sustainable growth.
Own It
End-to-End Accountability: Take full ownership of the financial planning lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term modeling.
Result-Oriented Leadership: Lead the integration of newly acquired entities into our financial framework, ensuring seamless consolidation and accountability from day one.
Performance Standards: Establish clear KPIs for teams to drive a culture of individual and collective responsibility.
One Team
Break down silos by collaborating closely with Group Finance, IT, and School leadership teams to ensure financial systems and data quality serve the entire organization.
Promote "One Pos Malaysia" by aligning school-level financial objectives with the Group’s over-arching strategic goals.
Actively mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a supportive environment where knowledge is shared and collective performance is prioritized over individual output.
Build Trust
Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership, providing transparent, accurate, and actionable financial insights.
Integrity in Reporting: Ensure the absolute integrity of monthly management accounts, fostering confidence among all internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical Evolution: Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, investment appraisals, and 5-year strategic plans.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement modern reporting capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the business.
