A leading global food service provider in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned Customer Development professional to manage end-to-end business operations and drive data-driven strategies. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in FMCG or food services. Key responsibilities include demand forecasting, performance measurement, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Supply & Demand Planning: Direct the demand and supply forecasting, planning, and allocation processes to ensure optimal inventory levels, product availability, and alignment with financial targets.
Execution & Support: Oversee the execution of pricing and promotions and ensure all product documentation is accurate. Equip Customer Development teams with the necessary operational support, tools, and accurate product documentation to drive sales success.
Driving Business Growth: Lead the Business Operation Team to drive channel growth by maximizing all resource allocations and ensuring operational support is fully aligned with commercial goals.
Actionable Insight Generation: Leverage company wide analytics and standardized reporting to monitor business performance. Your core focus is to translate this data into clear, actionable insights for local operational and commercial decisions.
Market & Customer Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive, market-specific analysis on consumer behavior, local trends, and competitive performance. Combine centralized data with your deep market knowledge to inform strategy and sharpen local customer engagement.
Ecosystem Adoption & Partnership: Drive the local adoption and effective utilization of standardized, company level data ecosystems and tools. You will partner with regional and global teams to ensure local data requirements and support needs are met.
Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor market-specific KPIs, leveraging standardized reporting frameworks where available. Use your analysis to identify local risks, report on business performance, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
Process Optimization: Continuously analyze all business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Lead initiatives using methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce operational costs.
Continuous Improvement Culture: Actively promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Capability Building: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the operational skills and data literacy of employees across the organization.
Change Management: Lead change initiatives focused on improving existing systems and processes, ensuring smooth adoption and measurable performance gains.
