As Head of the Branch, to provide comprehensive leadership and operational excellence across all branch functions. The core responsibility will be the strategic management of the Branch Secretariat, ensuring it serves as an efficient, cost effective and proactive hub that supports the organisation’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Management of overall Branch Secretariat including branch administration, finance i.e. income generation, expenditure, plan annual budget and to consult and advise the Branch's Chairman on branch affairs.
- Branch Committee and Sub-committees – to work closely with the Chairman of the Branch Committee and Sub-committees to plan, organise and promote activities relevant to members.
- Membership Services – maintain close rapport with members, attend to their issues/problems affecting them and organise seminars on current policies/regulations.
- Membership Recruitment – ensure given targets on new members’ recruitment are achieved.
- Government Liaison – Foster close rapport with heads of government departments/agencies.
- Assume overall responsibility to achieve FMMI targets by way of developing, marketing and implementation of the training programmes.
- Reports to FMM HQ – ensure that the relevant reports are submitted to FMM HQ as per schedule.
- ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems – understand and demonstrate leadership and commitment to ensure that the branch is in compliance with the Anti-Bribery Management Systems requirements.
- ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System – understand and demonstrate leadership and commitment to ensure that the branch is in compliance with all aspects of the Quality Management Systems.
- Undertake all other job functions which fall under the branch operations.
- Work closely with FMM HQ by ensuring that all assigned tasks are carried out effectively and comply with the deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in similar role.
- Proficient in project management, planning, and coordination of events or seminars.
- Exceptional communication, relationship management and leadership skills with the ability to engage confidently with both public and private sectors.
- Proactive, analytical and able to manage multiple projects independently.
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
