Responsibilities
- Provide services at UiTM Private Healthcare Sdn Bhd (known as UiTM Private Specialist Centre), a subsidiary of UiTM Holdings Sdn Bhd.
- Ensure nursing care is provided of high quality in accordance with hospital policy and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Provide clinical expertise in leadership and management by coordinating and monitoring the provision of safe, effective emergency practice that meets the needs of patients and their families.
- Manage staff rostering and scheduling with the right numbers at the right time in order to provide consistent and effective care. Ensure a reasonable workload with a balanced staff mix and competencies.
- Ensuring staff records, changes, instruments, and equipment usage are completed.
- Responds appropriately during emergencies and ensures emergency equipment is well-managed and in good condition.
- Improve patient access and satisfaction by providing high-quality care and ensuring all complaints are addressed accordingly and in a timely manner.
- Patient management documentation is regularly assessed for future planning and enhancement of patient care.
- Ensure the exchange of patient information with the interdepartmental team occurs and is managed efficiently.
- Maintain the hospital's environment and facilities, ensure they are effective, and report any faulty equipment and facility issues to the responsible unit.
- Responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring excellent customer focus in all working relationships.
- Responsible for managing assets and supplies.
- Planning on asset purchases with proper justification and ensuring each unit stays within the annual budget allocated.
- To ensure consumable supplies are well managed within budget and charged accordingly.
- Provide cost-conscious care without any negative effect on the patient‘s care.
- Ensure the annual practice certificates of new and existing staff are valid and renewed.
Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing Science and registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Qualified Post-Basic Midwifery.
- Must have a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- At least 5 years of experience in a position of similar capacity and responsibility.
