Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership on communication‑related solutions.
• Responsible for overseeing the entire IT lifecycle of network, firewalling, call‑center applications, VoIP telephony, and cellular communication systems for Genting Group in Kuala Lumpur and Resorts World Genting.
• Oversee implementation and management of IT‑related projects.
• Designing and proposing innovative communication solutions that meet business needs and align with company goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery strategies and contingency plans for communication‑related projects to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Lead and coach a team of IT professionals to achieve team objectives and targets while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Experience managing a team of a minimum of 15 network engineers.
• Proven ability in designing and managing complex campus‑wide networks in large enterprises.
• CISCO technical certifications (CCNA/CCNP) or Aruba Network certifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 ISMS or PCI DSS procedures.
• Hands‑on experience in the administration of dynamic routing and firewalling.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Self‑starter, proactive and resourceful.
