Position: Head, Human Resource & Training (Secondment at Laos)

Department: Human Resource & Training

Direct Reports: Senior Executive, HR & Training

Primary Objective: Leads the human resources functions for the company, planning, organizing, and implementing HR activities to support the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources Core Functions:
    • Human Resource planning and budgeting
    • Talent acquisition and retention
    • Compensation & benefits management
    • Performance management
    • Policy planning and development
    • Succession planning
    • Salary administration
    • Industrial and employee relations
    • Training and development
    • Develop a talent pool via a management trainee program
    • Reporting and statistics
  • System and Policy Management:
    • Review, streamline, and execute HR systems, guidelines, procedures, and policies to meet company goals.
    • Implement HR measures/initiatives from Group HR within timelines.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Ensure efficient workflow for office administration including stationery, printing, uniform, telecommunication devices, office equipment, furniture, company motor vehicles, and office maintenance.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform other projects/duties as instructed by management.
Requirements:

Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualifications.

Experience: Minimum 6 years in a similar industry.

Skills: Analytical skills, competencies in talent acquisition and management, training, payroll, and HR services.
