Job summary

A leading financial institution in Malaysia is seeking a manager to develop and oversee the sales office's operations and performance. You'll be responsible for driving business sales to achieve set targets while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The ideal candidate should enhance sales team performance, manage resources efficiently, and maintain relationships with business associates. This role offers the opportunity to maximize profitability and meet established KPIs for the area.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements and manages the Sales Office sales performance and operations plan.
  • Drives top line business with the target set.
  • Ensures compliance and adherence to regulatory and internal policies.
  • Plans, develops, implements and manages sales office operations for area target.
  • Manages, supervises and leads sub-ordinates to achieve business budget.
  • Motivates sales teams to maximize market opportunities.
  • Oversees resource management, capacity planning and productivity.
  • Reviews weekly sales targets and identifies coaching needs.
  • Maintains awareness of competitors’ activities and industry best practices.
  • Ensures cross selling and deep selling of products.
  • Approves quality credits per approving matrix.
  • Ensures daily operations within turnaround time.
  • Attends to operational issues tactfully.
  • Maximizes sales office profitability and KPIs.
  • Holds regular meetings with area staff to communicate management’s directions.
  • Maintains good rapport with business associates for service standards.
Job description
  • Develops, implements and manages the Sales Office sales performance and operations plan to achieve sale volumes and product mix for HP Business
  • To drive top line business with the target set.
  • Ensures compliance and adherence to the regulatory, Group and internal policies and guidelines
  • Plans, develops, implements and manages sales office and operations to achieve the area target
  • Manages, supervises and leads sub-ordinates to achieve overall business budget
  • Motivates and enhances the performance of sales teams to maximize local market business opportunities
  • Oversees resource management, including capacity planning, productivity, staff discipline and compliance
  • Reviews weekly sales targets / activities and identify the need for coaching and direction to ensure targets are met
  • Maintains awareness of competitors’ activities and industry best practices
  • Ensures cross selling and deep selling (consumers to hold more than one product)
  • Approves quality credits as per approving matrix
  • Ensures daily operations of designated area are working within TAT
  • Attends to LDC and operational issues tactfully and diligently
  • Maximizes sales office’s profitability and other KPIs set for the Division
  • Holds regular meetings with designated area staff to cascade management’s directions, goals and guidelines, etc.
  • Maintains good rapport with business associates to ensure service standards on turnaround time for credit application processing and approval are consistently met
