Job description

As a Gymnastic coach at The Young Explorer Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of talented gymnasts to help them reach their full potential. This full-time position is based in the vibrant neighbourhood of Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and implementing training programs to help gymnasts of all levels improve their skills and technique
• Providing hands‑on coaching and instruction during training sessions and competitions
• Monitoring gymnasts’ progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their goals
• Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all gymnasts during training and competitions
• Collaborating with the broader coaching team to continuously improve the gymnastic program
• Attending competitions and events to represent the team
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to gymnasts’ performance and progress

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a gymnastic coach, preferably with a background in competitive gymnastics
• Excellent coaching and instructional skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire gymnasts of all ages and skill levels
• Strong knowledge of gymnastic techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with gymnasts, parents, and the broader coaching team
• A passion for developing young athletes and helping them reach their full potential
• Current certification in first aid and CPR
