Job summary

A leading hospitality company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Guest Service Officer - Reservations to enhance guest experience and manage reservations efficiently. Candidates should possess excellent communication, organisational skills, and ideally have a degree in Hospitality Management. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. This full-time position is exclusive to Malaysian citizens and allows for a great entry into the hospitality industry.

Overview

You will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Guest Service Officer - Reservations will assist the Team Leader - Reservations in providing excellent guest service, managing reservation processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the reservations department.

Qualifications
  • Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
  • Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or any related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in reservations or front office operations within luxury hotels is preferred. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in hotel reservation systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations.
