Job Overview

The Group Human Resource Director (GHRD) will play a critical hands-on role in shaping and executing HR strategy across the organization. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR leader who enjoys not only driving strategy but also staying involved in the operational, day-to-day HR activities. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to ensure the successful implementation of HR practices across multiple regions.

Requirements
  • Lead the HR function across the group with a hands-on approach, actively participating in day-to-day HR operations, such as recruitment, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Partner closely with regional HR teams, providing guidance and support on both strategic and operational matters to ensure smooth HR function.
  • Provide direct involvement in resolving complex HR issues, from conflict resolution to workforce planning and restructuring, ensuring a proactive HR function.
Talent Acquisition and Development
  • Personally oversee and participate in the recruitment of senior-level positions and other critical roles, ensuring alignment with the business’s growth strategies.
  • Be hands‑on in implementing onboarding, training, and development programs to build a strong pipeline of talent across the group.
  • Work closely with leadership to create talent management and succession planning programs that are practical and scalable.
Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance
  • Take a direct role in reviewing and designing competitive compensation and benefits packages that meet employee needs and business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and provide hands‑on leadership in addressing employee relations, ensuring fairness and legal alignment.
  • Oversee and actively participate in the implementation and review of compensation structures to keep the organization competitive.
HR Operations
  • Be deeply involved in day‑to‑day HR operations, including overseeing payroll, HR administration, and performance management.
  • Manage the HR team directly and ensure effective collaboration with regional offices to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
  • Provide hands‑on support for HR system implementations and process improvements, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of the business.
Organizational Development and Culture
  • Actively drive and support culture‑building initiatives, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment across all regions.
  • Lead hands‑on change management initiatives to adapt the organization for growth, including workforce restructuring, leadership coaching, and development programs.
HR Technology and Analytics
  • Leverage HR systems and data analytics with a hands‑on approach to drive operational efficiencies and informed decision‑making.
  • Lead the collection and analysis of HR data, using it to make informed, strategic decisions for talent management and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 10‑15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Proven track record of being hands‑on in HR operations while developing and executing broader HR strategy.
  • Experience in managing HR functions in fast‑growing, multinational companies, with experience working across diverse geographies.
  • Skills:
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on involvement in daily HR operations.
