A global manufacturing firm is seeking a BU Analyst to support compliance with import/export regulations while overseeing Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse operations. The role involves ensuring adherence to Malaysian customs laws, managing documentation, and providing guidance on trade compliance matters. The ideal candidate has a relevant university degree and 3-5 years of supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential as the position is based in Penang.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing context.
• Knowledge of Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse regulations.
• Experience in communication with government authorities and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse operations to ensure compliance.
• Ensure timely submission of reportorial requirements to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
• Research international trade agreements for duty optimization.

Skills

Fluency in spoken and written English

Understanding of customs regulations

Knowledge of supply chain logistics

Ability to coordinate with government authorities

Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia

Education
