Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of purchasing experience, with at least 1 year in import procurement (preferably in Malaysia).
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian import regulations, INCOTERMS, K1, and customs clearance.
• Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors for procurement.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts for cost savings.
• Manage import purchasing processes with suppliers and customs agents.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian customs regulations and documentation.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) for goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Prepare procurement reports on spending, savings, and performance.
• Coordinate with finance for payment processes for international purchases.
