Overview

As a Fund Accountant, you will be part of a professional team responsible for delivering accurate fund valuations and Net Asset Values (NAVs) across a diverse range of funds. You will perform daily, weekly, and monthly valuations while maintaining precise records, identifying potential risks, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.

Region and Hours

Region: Europe
Working Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent and accurate pricing for assigned funds, meeting strict deadlines and service level agreements.
• Coordinate and manage communication with internal departments contributing to NAV production to ensure quality and timely client deliverables.
• Develop strong working relationships with teams including Quality Assurance, Shareholder Services, Transaction Management, Operations Control, Central Payment Management, Financial Reporting, Compliance, and Information Technology.
• Ensure robust process controls are in place, continuously improve them, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Support the identification and implementation of technology and operational enhancements to improve accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
• Participate in and contribute to special projects, which may represent up to 30% of the role.

Required Qualifications

• Essential
• Proven experience in fund accounting, pricing, or client reporting within financial markets.
• Strong technical knowledge of fund products, fund accounting principles, systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, deadline-driven mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Professional accounting qualification or designation.
