Job Scope – Front Office (Hotel)
  • Ensure all guests are welcomed to the Hotel in a friendly manner and registered in accordance with the Hotel’s Front Office standards and procedures.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure guest rooms are in perfect condition.
  • Check‑in and check‑out room quests; attend to all guests and visitor enquiries.
  • Answer front desk telephone calls.
  • Handle room bookings via phone, Internet and walk‑in.
  • Keep booking systems up to date.
  • Act as manager on duty for the hotel, dealing with complaints, problem‑solving, special requests and any other issues that may arise.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management as required from time to time.
  • Multi‑purpose tasks.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM / Diploma in Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
  • Able to work on weekends, public holidays; shift work required.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Warm, friendly and pleasant with great interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrates high integrity and honesty.
  • Able to provide backup and assistance to other team members as and when required.
