Job summary

A leading machinery maintenance company in Malaysia is looking for a qualified candidate to service and maintain heavy vehicles and equipment. The role requires at least a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, along with 2 years of experience in machinery maintenance. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia and be responsible and able to work independently in a plantation environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in vehicle and machinery maintenance.
• Prior experience in palm oil estate will be an added advantage.
• Able to work overtime as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain heavy-sized vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdown and failure.
• Monitor and inform superior on required maintenance materials.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Carry out routine inspections and assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to service and maintain heavy‑sized vehicles, machineries and equipment to ensure the machines are in good condition for operation.
• To troubleshoot machine breakdown and failure to ensure minimum production downtime.
• Monitor and follow up on material that is required for maintenance jobs and inform superior for ordering.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Carry out routine inspection and any other task as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience in vehicle and machinery maintenance.
• Prior experience in palm oil estate will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
