Responsibilities

• To receive payments and generate receipts accordingly.
• To ensure correct collection of payment from customers.
• To tally daily collections with daily cashier summary handover report.
• To ensure accuracy of cashier handover report before submitting to Finance on daily basis.
• To tag food items at food counter accurately.
• To be responsible for the shortage of the given cash float if the cashier was found out not complying with the required SOP for passing / receiving over cash float from colleague.
• To report immediately if there is cash collection shortage or surplus cash collection (if any).
• Be courteous and smartly dressed at all times.
• Ensure the premises are clean, well maintained and organized at all times.
• Assist in preparing and cooking food items for patients and customers by adhering to all standard recipes to ensure consistency such as sandwiches, desserts, breakfast and teatime items for patients’ meals, hospital functions or events and cafeteria.
• Ensure proper storage of uncooked foods and ready-to-eat foods.
• Other job-related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
