Fire Fighting Technician (Experienced Only)

We are looking for a highly experienced Fire Fighting Technician with strong hands-on capability in fire protection systems. This role requires technical expertise, computer proficiency, and flexibility to work overtime, off-hours, and night shifts, especially for shopping malls and operational facilities with restricted access hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection, testing, servicing, and maintenance of:
    • Fire Alarm Systems
    • Sprinkler Systems
    • Fire Hydrant Systems
    • Fire Pump Systems (Duty, Standby & Jockey Pumps)
    • Intercom / Emergency Communication Systems
  • Troubleshooting, fault finding, and rectification works.
  • Preparation of comprehensive service, testing, and inspection reports.
  • Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
  • Attend site meetings, technical discussions, and client meetings when required.
  • Willing to travel to project sites and work overtime, weekends, and night shifts as required by mall and operational site access.
  • Ensure all works comply with applicable fire safety standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and safe work practices at site.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in fire protection systems is mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of: Fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrant & pump systems
  • Computer literate: proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to communicate clearly and attend meetings confidently.
  • Valid driving license is mandatory.
  • GDL license is an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to travel and work overtime and after office hours, including night work.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
