Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Record daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data entry.
- Support monthly bank and account reconciliation processes.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or accounting issues promptly.
- Prepare and assist in submitting statutory payments such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and SST.
- Ensure adherence to Malaysian financial and tax regulations.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and expense summaries.
- Assist the finance team in organizing documentation for internal and external audits.
- Maintain systematic filing of financial records for audit and regulatory compliance.
- Address finance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage petty cash and perform other financial administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must possess at least a diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred for this position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations, including statutory compliance for Tax, and Audit.
- Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- Possess personal transportation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Malay; better can communicate in Chinese; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
