Michael Page are currently partnering with a well established Manufacturing Shared Service company to recruit a BFinancial Accountant to join the team! They are looking for someone with a key eye for continuous improvement.

Our client is an established player in the industrial/manufacturing industry with a substantial presence across the Asia Pacific region. This large organization prides itself on its commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Description

Your main job duties will include;

  • Responsible for month end close process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders.
  • Lead root cause analysis of recurring issues to drive targeted improvements and prevent future process disruptions.
  • Implement automation and digital tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention in financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure strong control environment across region
  • Ensure a healthy position of balance sheet is a priority.
  • Business Partnering
  • Support cash generation initiatives.
  • Direct & Indirect Taxes - support MC & Tax Consultants by providing financial information required to align with Local Tax requirements liabilities.
  • Transfer Pricing - provide accurate information regarding New TP and Annual Revisions.
  • Statutory reporting - work with external partner to ensure timely and accurate submission of local statutory reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Assist in better business decisions by provision of financial expertise and insightful analysis to all ad hoc queries in line with SLA.
  • Ensure corporate governance standards are met, taking accountability for effective operation of relevant financial reporting controls.
  • Identify opportunities for standardisation and simplification across the process area on a continual basis.
Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have;

  • A Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent, with a minimum 5-7 years in General Accounting/ Controlling experience.
  • English language proficiency, both verbal and written, with the confidence to express clear opinions and ability to explain financial issues to non-financial management.
  • Experience of change management and building engagement.
  • Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams.
