A financial service provider in Malaysia is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional with 1–2 years of experience. Responsibilities include processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will hold a diploma or degree in Finance or Accounting, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and be proficient in Excel. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
1) Processing, recording and reconciling collected transactions in the system.
2) Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
3) Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing and bank Interco reconciliation.
4) Researching and resolving payment discrepancies and billing issues.
5) Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting, and comply with financial requirements.
Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic accounting software.
Strong understanding of financial processes, bookkeeping, and payment procedures.
Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
