Job summary

A financial services company is seeking a Finance Manager/Accounts Executive to oversee full sets of accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in accounts receivable and payable, a minimum of LCCI/Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and analytical skills are necessary, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. This role will involve liaising with bankers, auditors, and the company secretary for various financial matters.

Reporting to the Group Chief Accountant, the Finance Manager/Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and full set accounts
  • Preparation and reconciliation of the monthly income schedules to identify income to be included in the monthly project costing and management accounts.
  • Update Inventory of stock purchase for project costing analysis and stock inspect
  • To handle posting and processing entries to ensure all business transaction are recorded properly.
  • Ensure month end close duties are prioritized and deadline are delivered on time.
  • To prepare the reconciliation for all balance sheet items and control accounts.
  • Prepare year-end audit and tax schedules as required.
  • Handling AR & AP area of works together with accounts assistant, and to support as at when required.
  • Liaise with banker for all the banking matters.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agent for all the financial year audit and tax matters.
  • Liaise with company secretary for all statutory filing matters.
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
  • Maintaining filing in systematic manner for easy retrieval of incoming mail/fax/documents.
  • Coordinate to circulate documents to obtain management approval.
  • Respond to calls, emails and routine letters. direct enquiries to the appropriate person.
  • Preparing documents for banking related matters.
  • Fulfill other admins/secretarial duties as needed.

Minimum LCCI/ Diploma in Accounting/ Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance from a recognized institution or equivalent.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and have working knowledge of computerized accounting system.

Minimum 3-8 years or more experience in handling the full sets of accounts, accounts receivable and payable.

Possess high integrity and good analytical skills

Strong communicator for both written and orally

Excellent planning skills & ability to prioritize and multi-task

Able to work independently and have strong sense of responsibility

Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
