Overview

Lead and oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and strategic analysis to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of financial management including accounting, reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with statutory requirements, audit standards, and company policies.
• Support management with accurate financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
• Lead, supervise, and guide the finance team in all daily accounting and finance operations (AP, AR, GL, cash flow, costing).
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Prepare and review monthly management reports, financial analysis, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis for management review.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor budget utilization, and highlight deviations or financial risks.
• Oversee and ensure accurate submission of SST, taxation matters, and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.
• Review payment vouchers, supplier invoices, staff claims, and other financial documents.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial SOPs, and ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.
• Manage company cash flow, working capital, banking facilities, and financial risk exposure.
• Oversee fixed assets management including verification, depreciation schedules, and asset tracking.
• Support management in cost optimization initiatives and financial planning.
• Ensure accurate and complete financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Advocate system improvements including accounting software, automation, or digitalization initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and adhere to company policies and regulations.
• Carry out other duties and tasks as directed by management.
