The Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring financial stability and growth, managing financial risks, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company’s business objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Playing a pivotal role in the company, you will be in charge of:

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for construction projects.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit reports.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous development and performance improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction or property development industry.
• Candidates with working experience in, construction or developers are preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia as well as Mandarin
