A leading management firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy within the finance department. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Property Development or Construction, along with professional accounting qualifications. Proficient communication in both Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential, and additional skills in IFCA.net and Chinese are advantageous. This role requires strong analytical abilities, multi-tasking skills, and a positive work attitude.
Monitor, review and approval of the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as cash flow, invoicing and other transactions
Cash flow monitoring & management and ensure cash flow is appropriate for the company’s operation.
Preparation and maintenance of financial department’s SOP and ensures the team is in compliance
Oversee and provide guidance to the finance department team & ensure that they contribute to the operational schedule & plans of the Company.
Handle and review full sets of accounts prepared by the team, including the company’s VCC entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with MFRS, and timely submission of monthly management accounts and reports.
Manage the overall direct and indirect tax matters such as tax planning, tax compliance, preparation and review of tax computation, withholding tax & payments.
Being the focal point in coordinating with other departments on gathering information for preparation of annual budget.
To liaise with internal and external auditors & coordinate timely release of audits schedule for interim and annual external audit.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as tax agents, bankers, suppliers, clients and government authorities on related job.
Drive change and innovation in day-to-day processes by providing streamlined and automated solutions if possible.
Supervise administrative staff, overseeing office operations, document management, filing, reporting, event coordination, vendor liaison, and office supply ordering to ensure smooth office functioning and compliance with company policies.
Any ad-hoc task assigned by superior.
