A prominent financial services firm located in Beranang, Selangor, is seeking a qualified candidate to oversee financial operations and accounting department performance. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of experience in an accounting role. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with financial regulations and managing cash flows. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for success in this role, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL accounting software.
1. Oversee the company’s financial operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance, while providing strategic financial guidance to management.
2. Monitor, plan, and manage cash‑flows and ensure all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
3. Oversee the accounting department’s daily operations to ensure deadlines are met and financial goals are achieved.
4. Oversee the monthly and yearly stock count procedure to ensure stock accuracy.
5. Liaise with external auditors, company secretary, bankers, and other professionals to ensure compliance with audit, statutory and tax requirements.
6. Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management.
