A leading finance and logistics company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance and Logistics Coordinator. The role involves performing reconciliation for shipping transactions, managing daily finance tasks, and optimizing cost efficiency. Proficiency in Excel for reporting and data analysis is essential. Perform reconciliation for shipping transactions, ensuring accuracy between invoices, shipping documents, and financial records.
Manage daily finance tasks including billing, accounts payable/receivable, and cost allocation related to logistics operations.
Track and analyze shipping and logistics expenses, freight charges, and vendor payments.
Create, maintain, and update Excel reports using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, COUNT, and other functions for data analysis and reporting.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and client-side departments to follow up on pending updates, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely information flow.
Assist in month-end closing, financial reporting, and variance analysis for shipping and logistics costs.
Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to monitor shipments and optimize cost efficiency.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc reporting related to commerce and logistics finance.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
