Job summary

A healthcare organization located in Kota Damansara is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage cash flow. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, have 3-4 years of relevant experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll and general ledger.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in compliance with Centre policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor cash flow position of the company and prepare cash flow projection on weekly basis.
  • Monitor financial performance and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage billing, collections and reimbursement process to optimize cash flow.
  • Check the invoices and that billing is done accurately.
  • Manage financial risk and implement controls to safeguard assets and prevent financial mismanagement.
  • Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, accounting standards, and hospital policies.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement new technologies and tools to streamline financial operations.
  • Collaborate with department and other key personnel to gather financial information and support operational needs.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein and/or any other tasks such as and when assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of working experience. Healthcare experience would be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good communication skills in English. Any additional language would be an added advantage.
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work closely with doctors, nurses, and other departments.
  • High integrity with strict adherence to confidentiality and hospital policies.
