Responsibilities
- Execute and continuously improve key business processes, including performance reporting, forecasting, budgeting, scorecards, and transaction data integrity.
- Deliver routine performance reports and presentations to key stakeholders, including ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
- Promote standardized data management practices across the organization to ensure a single, reliable source of truth for decision-making.
- Ensure weekly reconciliation of data across all systems, including post-adjustment alignments to maintain consistency.
- Support monthly system reconciliations, conduct data checks, and transparently escalate any issues as needed.
- Consolidate regional commentary as part of the standard monthly actuals, forecasts, and budget process.
- Coordinate key processes such as flash reporting, forecasts, and budgets by preparing templates, issuing instructions, collecting inputs, and ensuring accurate system uploads.
- Oversee the scorecard input process, including collecting targets, inputting data, reviewing accuracy, and distributing final scorecards.
- Assist in global efforts to streamline data governance templates and align operational processes.
- Contribute to the standardization and simplification of both routine and non-routine performance reporting across the organization.
- Support the integration of acquisitions into EPM as required.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing data integrity across all dimensions within EPM.
- Investigate and resolve ad hoc user and data governance queries.
- Develop expertise as an Enablement SME/SAP superuser and conduct training sessions on AFO, GTM, and data governance as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Data Lead should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, or other numerical disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years\' experience in a Financial Analysis & Commercial reporting role.
- Knowledge of SAP, SAP BW, CRM, EPM, Power BI is an advantage.
- Experience in using data analytics tools such as PowerQuery, Business Objects is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage.
- Qualified ACA /ACCA/CIMA/CPA, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing industry highly desirable.
