A leading education firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a Finance Business Partner to drive financial performance and provide strategic insights across multiple centres. This role involves collaborating with operational teams to develop budgets and forecasts, analyzing profitability, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance or related fields with over 5 years of experience in financial analysis and a strong ability to collaborate with non-financial stakeholders.
This role is central to driving financial performance across our centres, providing strategic insights, and partnering with operational leaders to deliver sustainable growth.
Partner with operational teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Monitor financial performance against targets, providing actionable insights.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
Analyse centre-level profitability, identifying trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Support decision‑making on pricing, staffing, and cost management.
Conduct financial reviews with Area Managers to drive accountability and results.
Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
Review expenses and recommend efficiencies across centres.
Assist in implementing financial policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and government regulations.
Support internal and external audits.
Assess risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Work with ERP and finance systems (Oracle Netsuite, Illumine) to improve reporting accuracy.
Develop dashboards and KPIs to track financial and operational performance.
