Job summary

A leading finance firm in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a skilled finance personnel to handle Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, perform financial reporting, and assist in bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in accounting, basic knowledge of accounting software, and at least 1–2 years of experience. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to communicate with clients. This role offers an opportunity to grow within the finance sector while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Prefer 1–2 years’ working experience in finance/accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian SST and financial regulations is a plus.
  • Good communication skills, detail-oriented, able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions including invoice processing, payment vouchers, staff claims, and customer collections.
  • Perform data entry and update transactions into the accounting system (e.g., SQL).
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Support in preparing financial reports.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, and tax agents when required.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc duties assigned by the Finance Executive/Manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Prefer 1–2 years’ working experience in finance/accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian SST and financial regulations is a plus.
