About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support the finance team in daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in finance within the property development industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily bookkeeping, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and petty cash accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Help maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are properly documented.
  • Assist with tax submissions, HRDF claims, and other statutory compliance documentation.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with other departments for finance-related queries and reporting.
  • Perform other ad-hoc finance duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
