A leading logistics company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced financial analyst to monitor KPIs, lead budgeting, and conduct profitability mapping. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Finance or related fields, 2–4 years of relevant experience in logistics, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in advanced Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools is essential. Mandarin, English, and Malay proficiency is preferred due to system requirements. Operational Analysis: Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Per Mile (CPM), Load Factor, and Warehouse Labor Efficiency.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the monthly forecasting process for freight spend, fuel costs, and maintenance capital expenditures.
Profitability Mapping: Conduct "Freight Lane" profitability analysis to determine which routes and clients are driving the highest margins.
Variance Reporting: Investigate monthly discrepancies between actual spend and budget, specifically regarding carrier rates and peak-season surcharges.
Decision Support: Build financial models to evaluate the "Buy vs. Lease" decision for fleet expansion or automated sorting equipment.

Technical Skills: * Advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Macro-modeling).
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is highly preferred.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate complex operational data into actionable financial insights.
Language Proficiency: Able to converse, write and read in Mandarin, English, and Malay will be added advantage due to system requirement.
