Job summary

A service-oriented business in Puchong is looking for an experienced accounting professional responsible for understanding clients' business and preparing financial statements. The successful candidate must have a degree in Finance with at least 3 years of relevant experience, including knowledge of cloud accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero. Effective communication in English is essential, and the ability to communicate in Mandarin is a benefit. This role requires a client-centric attitude and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience in the same capacity.
  • Have some SST knowledge or undergone SST training.
  • Experience with multiple companies' and consolidated accounts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand clients' business, processes, and accounts.
  • Conduct accurate and timely data entry of accounting transactions.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for clients.
  • Communicate with clients on day-to-day matters.
  • Supervise junior staff.

Job description

In-Tune Business Services – Puchong New Village

Understand Clients' business, processes and accounts;

Accurate & timely data entry of accounting transactions, banking transactions, bank reconciliations & SST;

Have the knowledge and experience to do closing of accounts;

Prepare monthly financial statements for clients;

Ensure all accounting and HR related statutory deadlines are adhered to;

Liaise with external providers such as auditor and tax agent;

Communicate with Clients on day-to-day matters;

Supervision of junior staff.

Requirements:

Degree in Finance & Accounting with professional qualifications ACCA / CIMA / CPA / MIA / MICPA / ICAEW;

Knowledge and skills in cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks/Xero and Autocount;

Knowledge in MS Office and double entry;

Able to speak, read and write in English fluently and articulate well when communicating with clients;

Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a bonus;

Experience with multiple companies\' and consolidated accounts is a plus point;

Minimum 3 years’ working experience in the same capacity;

Have some SST knowledge or undergone some SST training;

Customer-oriented mindset and attitude towards internal and external customers;

A highly dependent person with a sense of urgency, responsibility & result-oriented;

Able to work under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines;

Living and willing to work in Puchong.
