KEDTech is seeking a talented Field Application Engineer (Mandarin Speaking) to join our team based in Malacca, Malaysia. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients in the electronic and semiconductor industry.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with our wet cleaning equipment
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and maintenance services
• Arrange on-site machine installation, testing, trial with customers, suppliers and partners
• Manage inventory, order spare parts, and ensure the timely completion of tasks
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement improvements to existing products and processes
• Contribute to the team's continuous learning and knowledge sharing efforts

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Field Application Engineer or in a similar technical support role
• Related knowledge or experience on SMT/semiconductor process and product
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Mandarin, English and Malay
• Willingness to travel within the region and overseas to support client sites as needed
• A team player with a strong customer service orientation
