Factory Manager and/or Production Manager

We are seeking experienced (1) Factory Manager & (2) Production Manager to lead the full operational, technical, and strategic management of our manufacturing facility producing rubber insulating gloves and dielectric personal protective equipment (PPE). These 2 roles will be overseeing end-to-end factory operations—including production, quality, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, and safety—to ensure efficient, compliant, and high‑performing manufacturing processes respectively. Each ideal candidate has a strong background in rubber processing technologies, quality systems, and industry regulatory requirements, paired with proven leadership in high‑volume manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities for (1) Factory Manager
Factory Leadership & Strategy

Lead and manage the entire factory’s operations, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.

Develop and implement long‑term operational strategies to increase productivity, improve safety performance, and build manufacturing excellence.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and overall operational performance metrics.

Production & Operational Management

Ensure timely and efficient production of rubber insulating gloves and dielectric PPE, maintaining high quality and consistency.

Oversee critical production processes including latex/rubber dipping, moulding, vulcanization, finishing, and dielectric testing.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, reduce downtime, and minimize scrap and defects.

Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.

People & Organizational Management

Lead and develop factory personnel, ensuring strong performance, effective communication, and adherence to operational standards.

Oversee staff planning, training, skills development, succession planning, and performance evaluations.

Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities for (2) Production Manager
Production Operations

Oversee end‑to‑end manufacturing processes for rubber insulating gloves and dielectric PPE—including dipping, curing, trimming, testing, and final inspection.

Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet output and delivery targets.

Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain consistent product quality.

Supervise, coach, and develop production staff, ensuring high performance and strong operational discipline.

Conduct workforce planning, including staffing, scheduling, and skills development.

Lead cross‑functional communication among production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams.

(1) Factory Manager & (2) Production Manager – Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure compliance with standards such as ASTM D120, ASTM F496, IEC 60903, EN 60903, ISO 9001, and other applicable regulations.

Collaborate with QA/QC teams to monitor product quality, defects, address non‑conformities, and uphold robust quality systems.

Ensure the factory passes audits for electrical safety PPE, customer requirements, and certification bodies.

Support testing operations, including dielectric testing, thickness verification, aging tests, and final certification.

Safety & Maintenance

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by enforcing strict adherence to safety policies and regulatory requirements.

Ensure all machinery, testing devices, and production lines undergo proper preventive maintenance and calibration.

Oversee facility management, including utilities, environmental compliance, and workplace ergonomics.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials (natural rubber latex, chemicals, formers, packaging, etc.).

Oversee inventory control and warehouse management to ensure accurate stock levels and minimal waste.

Manage coordination between production, logistics, and customer service teams for on‑time delivery.

Manage new product introduction (NPI) activities in collaboration with R&D, including prototype builds and production scaling.

Track and report production KPIs (yield, cycle time, scrap rate, labour efficiency, etc.).

Requirements for (1) Factory Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science or related field courses from reputable universities.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or factory management role.
  • Strong understanding of rubber processing (latex dipping, vulcanization, moulding) and/or PPE manufacturing.
  • Experience managing large teams and leading cross‑functional departments.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical PPE standards (ASTM, IEC, EN) and quality/regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience with operational excellence, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Preferably staying within Negeri Sembilan.
Preferences for (1) Factory Manager
  • Advanced certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
  • Experience working in ISO‑certified environments (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and digital manufacturing tools.
  • Experience in automation or modernization of rubber/PPE production lines.
  • Strong background in engineering, quality systems, or process optimization.
Requirements for (2) Production Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science or related field from reputable universities.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of production or manufacturing management experience, preferably in rubber, polymer, latex, or PPE industries.
  • Strong knowledge of rubber fabrication processes (latex dipping, vulcanization, moulding, curing).
  • Familiarity with electrical‑rated PPE standards, product testing, and certification requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience leading production teams and managing large‑scale manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with production planning tools and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Preferably staying within Negeri Sembilan.
Preferences for (2) Production Manager
  • Experience specifically in manufacturing rubber insulating gloves or dielectric PPE.
  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 certified environments.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies used in dipping or curing lines.
  • Background in reliability engineering, process engineering, or quality engineering.
