A local electronics manufacturing company is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee PCB production in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage day-to-day operations, drive quality improvement, and optimize manufacturing costs. The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the PCB manufacturing industry, with familiarity in processes for Double sided, Multilayer, and HDI circuit boards. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day factory operations to meet PCB production targets.

• Manage PCB manufacturing processes including imaging, drilling, and testing.
• Control manufacturing costs through waste reduction and optimization.
• Ensure proper maintenance and uptime of production equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Job description

Our client is a local company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Its Electronic Division is principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of PCBs and is positioned strategically in the electronics manufacturing hub of Penang. It manufactures high-quality Single-Sided and Multi-Layer circuit boards as well as High Density Interconnect (HDI) for domestic and international markets. Job Responsibilities

• Production & Operations Management - Oversee day-to-day factory operations to ensure PCB production targets for quality, cost, delivery, and safety are met.
• Quality Management - Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
• Process & Technical Management - Oversee PCB manufacturing processes including imaging, drilling, plating, etching, solder mask, surface finishing, and testing. Support introduction of new products, new processes, and new equipment.
• Cost Control & Efficiency - Control manufacturing costs through waste reduction, yield improvement, and process optimization.
• Equipment & Maintenance - Ensure proper maintenance and uptime of production equipment. Plan for equipment upgrades or capacity expansion when required.
• Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) - Ensure compliance with factory safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Degree in related Engineering field (i.e: Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry etc)
• Min 10-year experience in PCB manufacturing industry
• Familiar with All Processes of Double sided, Multilayer (at least up to 12 layers) and HDI
