Job description

Installation & Commissioning

Installation & Commissioning of fire alarm systems, sprinklers, hydrants, extinguishers, and suppression systems according to blueprints and specifications.

Test and commission new systems to meet safety standards.

Inspection & Maintenance

Conduct scheduled inspections of fire protection equipment (alarms, pumps, extinguishers, hydrants, hoses, detectors).

Perform preventive maintenance and replace faulty components.

Ensure compliance with local fire codes and statutory requirements.

Diagnose faults in fire detection and suppression systems.

Repair or replace defective parts to restore system functionality.

Electrical Maintenance

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including lighting, power outlets, switches, and distribution boards.

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical panels, wiring, and fixtures.

Assist in installation of new electrical equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Safety Engineering or Building Maintenance
• Minimum 21 year experience in facility or building maintenance.
• Familiarity with Malaysian safety codes and building regulations.
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
