Job summary

A leading technology company located in Kulai, Malaysia, is looking for a Facility Manager/Senior Engineer/Engineer to oversee the maintenance of plant and utilities equipment. The successful candidate will manage maintenance operations, ensure equipment availability, and administer training programs for technical personnel. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance, with strong management and planning skills to support departmental strategies and productivity improvements.

Job description

Facility ( Manager / Senior Engineer/ Engineer)

Responsible for overall maintenance of plant & utilities equipment and the industrial building
Supervises, manages and oversees the plant & utilities equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime

Supervises technical personnel who perform repair and maintenance of plant & utilities equipment.

Administer training programs to ensure proper plant & utilities equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programs and procedures.

Establish and assure adherence to facilities department budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.

Regularly interacts with Manufacturing, Engineering support & OEM suppliers on matters concerning plant & utilities resource availability & performance.

Assurance 100% plant and utilities availability round-the-clock

Ensures the plant equipment are in good and tenable condition so that production is not interrupted.

Requirement:

Minimum 2 years’ working experience in facilities maintenance & operation.

Effective management skill in plant maintenance, maintenance service contracts and PM schedules.

Effective planning and organizing skills to meeting department’s short & long term strategies on capacity and capability planning.

Effective manpower & resource planning, management, training & control.

Effective management skills in waste elimination, cost & productivity improvement programs.
