A leading technology company in Penang is searching for a Facility Engineer (Operations & Maintenance) to oversee and enhance the operations of various utilities equipment. This role requires a degree in Facilities Management or Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in a similar field. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, supervising maintenance tasks, and implementing cost-saving practices while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HVAC and energy savings methods.
Reporting to the Senior Facility Manager and responsible for daily/routine operation and maintenance activities of various utilities equipment/systems (Low and High Voltage Electrical System, Grid-Connected PhotoVoltaic, Compressed Dried Air, Cooling Tower, Chiller, Heat Recovery Hot Water System, Plant Wide Air Conditioning System, Cooling/Chilled Water System, City Water Supply System, Fire Protection System, Scrubber System) including upgrading, improvement and plant expansion project.
To manage, operate and analyse Building Management System (BMS).
To perform, lead and supervise effective and efficient preventive and predictive maintenance, conduct trouble shooting and implementing preventive, corrective and mitigation actions/measures.
Scheduling work order from other departments, planning equipment/system operation and inspection.
Conducting economic analysis and improvement especially in the operation of various utilities equipment for the purpose of cost saving.
Drive and conduct energy and utilities cost saving/efficient project.
To lead Facility Operations & Maintenance technicians on the safety and health aspects.
To manage appointed contractors and ensure they are comply with Safety Procedures.
Liaise with TNB, BOMBA, ST, PBAPP, DOE, MBSP, KPDHEP, DOSH and government regulatory bodies to achieve utilities equipment compliance and utility services provider.
To meet internal, external and customer requirements/audits.

Education, Qualification Requirements :
Degree in Facilities Management or Electrical Engineering / Technology or Mechanical Engineering / Technology or related discipline.
Working Experience Requirements :
Minimum 5 years working experience in Facilities Operations & Maintenance or related.
PCB factory facility or related experience preferred but not mandatory.
Skill & Knowledge Requirements (If any) :
Knowledge of Facilities Management, HVAC, compressed air generations and distributions.
Fully conversant with latest energy savings methods and requirements.
