Job summary

A semiconductor manufacturer located in Penang is seeking a skilled engineer to monitor and supervise plant utility systems. The candidate will provide technical direction to technicians and contractors, optimizing operations for cost efficiency and productivity. Ideal applicants will possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with 3-4 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese is required. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Job description

Monitor and supervise plant utility system operation and maintenance to meet quality requirement.

Providing technical direction to Technicians or Technical Specialist or contractors in support of the operations.

Work with senior engineer or manager to define plant utility system towards operation excellency.

Provide improvement and optimize proposal to help system operation with more cost efficiency and productivity.

Support on all kinds of audit from customer internally or externally include ISO/OHSAS/Insurance/Local government.

Coordinating and work closely with Hookup Team, manufacturing equipment team to ensure all working execute smoothly and safely.

Any other task assigned by superior.

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Language: Fluent oral and written English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.

Experience: 3~4 years’ semiconductor industrial experience in utilities/building operations and maintenance.
